I’m back from my month in Indonesia and it was amazing. The five days in, and five days out just to get to Hoga could have been done without. Here are some pictures to whet the appetite.

I spent four weeks on Hoga, though in reality I only spent around 3 on the island as I spent my third week there on the Bintang, the site’s liveaboard dive boat. I got my open water dive certification, passed a coral reef ecology course (with flying colours), took part in Reef Check and got to spend a week manta boarding on the biotope mapping project.

Indonesia was from what I saw of it is an amazing, vast country which I would really like to visit again in the future.
